Last weekend, members of the Plus Therapeutics team — led by Gabby Cleveland — participated in the 7th Annual Head for the Cure Foundation 5K in Phoenix, Arizona, standing alongside patients, caregivers, and advocates united in the fight against brain cancer.

This meaningful event brought together hundreds of participants to raise awareness and funds for critical research, patient education, and community programs that improve the lives of those affected by brain tumors.

Funds raised locally will directly benefit Ivy Brain Tumor Center at Barrow Neurological Institute, Brains for the Cure, and other national brain cancer initiatives — all of which are dedicated to accelerating progress through innovative research and compassionate patient support.

Why It Matters

At Plus Therapeutics, our mission extends beyond the lab — it’s about helping patients, families, and advocacy groups work together toward better outcomes and greater hope. Events like Head for the Cure remind us that every step forward in awareness and fundraising brings us closer to a world with better tools, more treatment options, and a stronger community for those facing CNS cancers.

As we continue to advance our ReSPECT clinical trials and other radiotherapeutic programs, we remain deeply committed to supporting organizations that share our passion for brain cancer research, education, and patient empowerment.
